Restaurants I've Visited in New York Recently 🍴
🍃🌸A mix of cuisines from all over the world: 🧂 Shmoné A charming Israeli tavern with a lot of atmosphere. The Jerusalem bagel is like a sesame seed bun. The parchment - wrapped baked fish I ordered was very tender and juicy. The wagyu beef skewers with the tomato sauce underneath were also delicious. 🍃🌸Overall, it's quite novel and I recommend giving it a try. However, I had the most sour pesto pasta with pistachios I've ever had in my life - did they squeeze an entire lemon into it or something? 🧂 Oxomoco A relaxed and affordable one - star Michelin restaurant. The chips served with six different types of chili sauces were quite interesting. We ordered the soft - shell crab, beef, and mushroom tacos of the day. Each one was huge. But I think compared to the tacos, the tuna tostada was tastier. 🧂 Bungalow A very popular Indian restaurant that's hard to get a reservation at. The chef is a famous Indian celebrity chef. Before coming here, I even had my Indian colleague recommend some dishes to me. 🍃🌸 But after eating, it seemed just so - so? I think the flavors are a bit fusion and not very authentic. The curry also lacks a bit of spiciness. In comparison, I prefer Semma. 🧂 Very Fresh Noodles Fresh noodles inside Chelsea Market. I had the dry - mixed cumin beef and mutton noodles, as well as the tiger vegetables. 🍃🌸 My friend thought they were delicious - better than the famous Xi'an Ming. After showing off their noodles, they started showing off mine, haha. 🍜 #NewYork 🗽
