Richmond Hill Has a Hidden Gem Restaurant!

I randomly stumbled upon a treasure of a restaurant at an intersection on Yonge Street that I pass by almost every day. I couldn’t believe it! Over 4,200 reviews on Google and still holding an impressive 4.6 rating! After trying it, I can confidently say this is the best kebab I’ve had in the GTA! 🥳 Highly recommend their grilled meat platter in the main photo! It comes with chicken leg, koobideh (lamb), and barg (ground sirloin beef). The chicken was incredibly tender, and the barg far exceeded my expectations. The roasted whole tomato was also delicious! 🍗🍅 The rice surprised me too—it had such a unique aroma! It smelled and tasted amazing, and even though I usually don’t eat much rice, I couldn’t stop eating it! 🍚 I looked it up and think it might be Persian Tahdig Rice, possibly saffron-infused—so fragrant! 🌸🍴 🥤 Walnut Yoghurt Drink: An authentic Persian yogurt drink with a salty yet refreshing taste, loaded with large walnut pieces. The spices are distinctive yet blend harmoniously. It’s a bit tangier than your regular yogurt, but so flavorful! 🌰🧊 The restaurant’s decor is also quite unique, with wooden barrels hanging from the ceiling, red brick walls, and a rustic wood design. 🪵🏺 By the way, there’s a spot right next to it called 📍 Roses Cafe Senso, where I grabbed a cup of Turkish coffee. It was rich and fragrant, absolutely perfect! ☕️ Later, the server told me both spots are owned by the same person (which you could kind of guess from the names).
