Rocky Mountain National Park | Bear Lake In Denver ποΈπ
What a gorgeous Saturday! Started my morning casually chatting with a client, until a last-minute booking came in β no time for makeup π, just grab the gear and go! Picked up my guests and took Highway 36 through CU Boulder and Lyons, arriving in Estes Park about two hours later β just in time for lunch. We ate at La Cocina de Mama β a cozy Mexican spot already decked out in full Christmas decor ππ§π. The food was tasty and the vibe was warm! Then we drove to Bear Lake. Had to wait about 20 minutes for parking β so yes, the early bird really does get the spot! π¦β³ At the lake: βοΈ Sunny side β clean, clear, with a thin layer of ice floating delicately on the water βοΈ Shaded side β path was icy and slippery, lake frozen more solid I heard so much Mandarin and Cantonese along the trail β felt like a mini-Asia reunion! On our way out of the parking lot, we rolled down the window and cheered, βCongratulations!β to a lovely couple taking wedding photos in the cold ππ°π€΅. We wrapped up the day with a casual stroll through the historic Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, then dropped my guests back at their hotel. A simple, sweet, and soul-filling day β¨. #Denver#RockyMountainNP #BearLake #EstesPark #ColoradoTravel #WinterHikes #StanleyHotel #WeekendVibes #MountainMagic #TravelWithJoy #LakeViews
