São Paulo🇧🇷 Hot Air Balloon Diary | The Sunrise Was Stunning🎈

Chased a hot air balloon sunrise in the town of Boituva—so romantic I want to weld the moment into my memory~ 🏠Agency: Clube Do Balão 🗺️Address: Estrada Maria Alves, 1 - Bairro dos Correia, Boituva - SP, 18550-000 ☎️Contact: +55 11 94018-6628 ins: @clubedobalaoboituva.oficial It’s about a 1.5-hour drive from downtown São Paulo, but if you want to catch the sunrise, you have to get up early—you need to arrive before 5 a.m., so we set off in the dark at 3 a.m.🌙. If you don’t want to drive, you can ask the boss to book a car to pick you up. We negotiated a one-way trip for 300 reais, and splitting it between four people was super cost-effective~ When we arrived, we first wandered around the grass to take photos and watched the staff inflate the hot air balloon: the huge envelope slowly puffed up, there was still a faint moon in the sky, and the fields were in a hazy "dawn" atmosphere. Taking silhouette photos next to the hot air balloon was so atmospheric📸! However, the morning dew on the grass is heavy, and your shoes and socks will get wet in minutes—remember to wear waterproof shoes! To get on the hot air balloon, you have to climb into the basket. Wearing a short skirt might be inconvenient, so it’s better to wear comfortable pants. We took off at around 5:50 a.m., with a standard flight time of about 40 minutes. Including adjusting the landing position, we landed at approximately 6:50 a.m. There weren’t many people on our day, and there were only 6 people in one basket—not crowded at all~ It gets a bit hot when the burner is on in the hot air balloon, but the wind is strong and the temperature is low in the early morning, so you still need to wear more! Don’t be fooled by the "heat"—it really gets cold enough to make you huddle😝 The fee also includes a simple buffet breakfast, and after landing, everyone opens champagne to celebrate together—so full of ceremony~ I’ve been on a hot air balloon in Cappadocia, Turkey before. In comparison, there are fewer tourists here, so you can’t take photos of the spectacular scene of colorful balloons all over the sky. But the experience of ascending to overlook the earth is the same—the wind blows past your ears, your eyes are filled with vast fields and morning mist, and the troubles on the ground seem to fade away. My mind is just full of "wow" and dopamine jumping~ If you’re feeling adventurous, you can stop by the nearby skydiving base after watching the hot air balloon! It’s about a 15-minute drive, and "flying twice a day" doubles the excitement~ I’ll write more about skydiving in Boituva in a later note! 💰Cost Reference: Round-trip charter: 300 reais (one way) Return Uber: 350 reais (fixed price) Hot air balloon: There’s a discount when paying with Pix. After negotiating, it was 407 reais per person for four of us Spending about 400 reais for a sunrise in the sky is worth recommending to all friends! #HotAirBalloon #StartTheNewYearWithATrip #TravelAroundTheWorld #MyHiddenTravelGuide #TravelBits #BeautifulSceneryOnTheTrip #Travel
