São Paulo Barbecue | Fazenda Churrascada🍖

Who knew that without a reservation on a Saturday night, we waited in line for a full two hours😭 We arrived at the restaurant at six and didn't get a table until eight. We stood so long that our legs were sore. So I strongly advise friends who want to go: definitely, definitely make a reservation in advance! Don't be like us waiting foolishly~ But no matter how long we waited, it was worth it! Every dish is! so! so! delicious! It totally lived up to the two-hour wait😋 The short rib we ordered was super generous. A big piece of meat came out glistening with oil, and the juice dripped down the grain. When cut open, the ao ponto doneness was just right—pink and tender. It could be separated with a light poke of a fork. It was tender and juicy in the mouth, chewy with the aroma of beef, not at all dry. It was so delicious that I wanted to swallow my tongue🤤 The cupim defumado was also amazing! Sliced thin, the cupim itself is relatively tender, and after their treatment, it's even more flavorful and tender. Put it in your mouth and it almost melts without chewing, with a faint smoky aroma. The texture is incredible👍 We chose beef sausage, and when we bit into it, it "popped" and juiced right in our mouths! The meaty aroma mixed with the savory juice spread in the mouth. There's no messy starchy taste, just solid meat chunks. So satisfying😆 Besides that, we also went to 481 and chose a lamb chop—I was worried about the mutton smell at first, but there was none at all! It was grilled crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Every bite was full of mutton aroma, no fishy smell at all. Highly recommended! But the initial ao ponto doneness was a bit too rare for us, so we asked the waiter to reprocess it, and the texture was just right after that👌 Unexpectedly, even the rice was so amazing! Sticky with a bit of chewiness, mixed with a soft-boiled egg, the yolk liquid wrapped around the rice. Every bite was soft, and it was refreshing and filling with barbecue. Even I, who don't like rice, ate half a bowl greedily🍚 We ordered lychee and watermelon flavored cocktails. The lychee one was divine! The sweet lychee aroma mixed with the wine aroma, refreshing and not harsh. One sip was super appetizing; the friend who was driving ordered an alcohol-free sparkling water, which was just ordinary, no special taste😐 The on-site atmosphere was also great! There was a live band, singing lively. When someone had a birthday, everyone in the restaurant would sing the birthday song together, and everyone was in high spirits. We happened to sit ,super close to the band, and could sway to the rhythm up close. The atmosphere was off the charts. Eating meat and listening to songs, all the tiredness from waiting was gone🥳 The average cost per person is about 200+ reais. We greedily ordered double portions of rice and short rib that day, and ended up not finishing, which was a bit wasteful. Actually, ordering normally is enough~ ❗️To emphasize again: definitely, definitely make a reservation in advance! #DailyFood #AtmosphericRestaurant #Barbecue
