Salvador—The Most Romantic Colorful Fairy Tale Town in the World 💖

Beyond Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is home to another beautiful and romantic coastal town—Salvador. When I was planning my trip, I found that few people from my country visit this place. It's the fourth-largest city and can be reached by flying from Rio, which takes about 1-2 hours. The entire city feels like a colorful fairy tale world 🎨. The old town is filled with a variety of retro buildings and churches, exuding a Portuguese vibe 🏛. People here take their time to stroll around, enjoy a beer, bask in the sun, and savor ice cream by the sea, which is particularly delightful 😭. They also often break into dance on the streets for no particular reason! Hahaha, I only learned upon arriving that the Brazilians' love for dancing is not a myth 💃🏽. Many shops along the streets sell paintings by locals, and the Brazilians' talent for painting is truly 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽. They also have a traditional dish here, somewhat similar to a seafood stew? Everyone seems to enjoy it 😂. If you go, you should give it a try. I recommend staying at a hotel in the old town of Pelourinho, so you can start exploring as soon as you step out the door! We spent three days there, and every day was filled with joy and fun!! The local Brazilians are especially warm and friendly, making friends everywhere 😭😭. If you have the chance, you must visit South American countries; they have such unique characteristics 😭. #BrazilTravel #Salvador #SouthAmericaTravel #OffTheBeatenPath #Brazil #CoastalTown
