Samsaen Thai - Not Recommended 🚫

🏙️Another disappointing day... I visited this Thai restaurant near Penn Station, and it was packed with people, but the service was incredibly slow. It felt like forever before our food arrived. The restaurant was bustling, but the slow service really took away from the experience. 🕒 🎢 The roasted beef marrow was way too greasy, and the texture was off-putting. It lacked the rich, savory flavor I expect from well-prepared marrow. The Tom Yum soup was bland and lacked the usual tangy and spicy kick that makes it so delicious. It was a far cry from the flavorful soups I’ve enjoyed at other Thai restaurants. 🍲 🍃 The fried rice portion was smaller than a fist—not enough to satisfy hunger. For the price, I expected a generous portion, but it was barely enough for a light snack. The overall quality of the food just didn’t match the price tag. 🍔 🌊 With an average cost of $50+ per person, I left feeling unsatisfied and a bit frustrated. I guess I’ll just consider this a diet day. 🥺 🌸 #NewYork #NYCFoodie #NotRecommended 🌟
