San Francis Travel Guide | Sights & Food in Silicon Valley's Hub ποΈπ
I flew into San Jose a few days early for a work trip and made the most of it with some local exploring and eating. Hereβs my take: ποΈ San Jose / Silicon Valley Highlights Many say San Jose is just a residential area β but as a visitor, I found it fun to check out the tech campuses and university vibes! Santana Row: Great for shopping and festive lights ποΈβ¨ Nearby is the quirky Winchester Mystery House. Apple Park Visitor Center: Part store, part AR experience to view the spaceship campus π Google Visitor Experience: Grab some Google merch and stroll the scattered campus buildings π€ Meta Headquarters: Skip it β literally just a sign, nothing to see π« Stanford University: Beautiful campus! Visit the Bookstore for souvenirs and don't miss Memorial Church ππ π½οΈ San Jose Eats β PHα» HΓ Nα»I: Solid pho and Vietnamese iced coffee. Loved the lunch meat spring rolls! β Shang Yu Lin: Peanut milk tea was a standout β savory, nutty, not too sweet π₯€π₯ β Dzui's Cakes and Desserts: Made a special trip for their durian smoothie β so worth it! π§ β MoonTea: Just okay β not amazing β Hunan Impression: Long wait, overly numbing dishes, pricey for what it is π¨ San Jose Hotel Hyatt Regency Santa Clara: Nice stay with a great breakfast spread β would recommend! Whether youβre here for tech, campus tours, or just good food β San Jose has more to offer than it gets credit for! #SanJoseGuide #SiliconValley #SanJoseEats #TechTourism #StanfordCampus #BayAreaTravel #TravelCalifornia #FoodieFinds #DurianLovers #WeekendGetaway
