San Francisco: A Matcha-Lover’s Japanese Brunch Spot!
My girlfriend has always been a huge matcha fan, and I’ve now joined the club. This matcha restaurant in San Francisco really hit the spot for us—it was delicious! 🥤 Drinks: Strawberry hojicha and rose matcha—one cold, one hot. Both were spot-on in flavor. Highly recommended! 🎂 Desserts: Matcha chestnut Swiss roll, matcha cookies, and matcha cream pie. Everything was amazing—dense, rich in matcha flavor, and not overly sweet. Even though I’m not usually a dessert person, I was truly enchanted. 🐟 Matcha Salmon Chawanmushi: Yes, you read that right! I ordered it out of curiosity, and it was quite interesting. The flavor wasn’t particularly amazing, but it wasn’t bad either—a unique combination. 🥪 Sandwiches: Egg salad sandwich, pork cutlet sandwich, and sando were all great! The pork cutlet sandwich was juicy and not dry at all. Highly recommended! 🐔 Curry Chicken Cutlet Rice: The curry was very rich! I was already full, but it was still delicious. I’ve visited this place twice for breakfast in San Francisco. The first time, it was raining, and I waited in line for almost an hour. Parking was a nightmare, so I’d suggest taking a taxi. But overall, I loved it and would definitely recommend it to friends. After eating, there’s a nice little gift shop nearby with lots of Jellycat items, and a vintage store next door. It’s a great way to spend the morning—eating and then shopping to digest! 📍 Stonemill Matcha #Ryuji #RyujiDaily #Matcha #Brunch #SanFrancisco #SweetTooth #MatchaLover
