San Francisco’s Oracle Park Will Turn Into A 9-Hole Stadium Golf Course This Fall

While Oracle Park is typically home to Giants games throughout the summer (and more recently a [Bay FC game that drew 40,000 fans](https://secretsanfrancisco.com/bay-fc-oracle-park-record-breaking-attendance/)), the stadium hosts a variety of events throughout the year. [This fall](https://secretsanfrancisco.com/sf-fall-bucket-list/), a popular golfing event is returning to the stadium — **for one week only**. The event, called **Ballpark Back 9**, will be a 9-hole course played throughout the iconic stadium. The course will be open from **November 5 through November 9**, giving golfers five days to play. Players will tee off from **iconic locations** in the ballpark, playing holes on the field, before ending with a **10th round putting challenge**. This year, a new challenge has been added to the course: an on-field water feature. Golfers who make it into the “splash zone” in the water feature will win prizes (and plenty of bragging rights, of course). Players will also have the chance to enjoy the Gotham Club before and after playing. Typically reserved for members only, the Gotham Club is a private lounge that features a **full bar** and multiple TVs ideal for watching sports. Tickets for the event start at **$114 per person** and are on sale now. You only have five days to play a round at the park, so we recommend reserving your tickets early to secure your preferred time. For now, baseball season is still in full swing at the ballpark, with several more home games scheduled throughout the month. We recommend checking out the last [theme night](https://secretsanfrancisco.com/oracle-park-theme-nights-giants-baseball/) of the season on **September 27, called “Dog Days.”** The event will feature an adorable pre-game dog parade, and partial proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the SF SPCA. Later this fall, you can also see [Cirque du Soleil](https://secretsanfrancisco.com/cirque-du-soleil-echo-oracle-park-san-francisco/) between **November 20 and December 21**.
