San Francisco's best Hummus--Oren's Hummus
π Oren's Hummus π₯ If you're a fan of Hummus, a dish made from chickpeas, don't miss this place. With six locations in the Bay Area, this Middle Eastern restaurant focuses on healthy, low-calorie, and nutritionally rich chickpea dishes. They're incredibly satisfying; a little goes a long way, but they're so good you won't be able to stop eating. π Hummus Lamb $19 π A dish of hummus with lamb shoulder meat stewed in pomegranate juice. This is the best combination of lamb and hummus I've had at a Middle Eastern restaurant. The lamb has a rich flavor that some might find strong, but the tangy sweetness of the pomegranate juice comes through later. Tear off a piece of Pita, dip it in the Hummus, and pair it with a piece of meat for a delightful experience. π Chicken Skewer $19.95 The chicken is very tender, and the side of Romanian Eggplant, a cold eggplant puree, is a great choice π π Traditional Shakshuka $16 A traditional North African dish, similar to a Middle Eastern version of scrambled eggs in tomato sauce. π Chicken Rice Bowl $15.5 A rice bowl with seasoned turmeric and five-spice chicken. 71 3rd St San Francisco, CA 94103 #San Francisco#Oren's Hummus#food diary #Hummus
