San Francisco | Delicious Peking Duck at Boiling Beijing 🥡🦆

We suddenly craved Peking duck today, so I called Boiling Beijing on a whim to check if they had any left. They offer both large and small sizes — only the small was available, which was perfect for our group of four. (Let’s be real, you can’t just eat duck alone! 😄) After finishing the duck, you can have the carcass cooked into a second dish — we went with the salt and pepper style, and it was incredibly fragrant and crispy! It was my first time eating it while slightly hungover, and wow, what a treat 🍂✨. The duck itself was fantastic — tender, moist, and that crispy skin dipped in sugar? Pure love ❤️‍🔥. We also ordered: Hand-Torn Cabbage 👌 – So flavorful! Golden Soup with Fatty Beef ⚠️ – Sadly, a letdown… Lamb Shaomai 🥟 – Tasty and juicy Chicken & Turtle Hot Pot 🍲 – Rich and unique, but we were too full to finish We’ve tried their dry pot potatoes and jingjiang shredded pork before — both were excellent. No wonder this place has been around since before boba shops took over the Bay — they’ve stood the test of time! They also serve hot pot — has anyone tried it? Is it good? 💡 Tip: Remember to call one day ahead to reserve your duck! You can also set a pickup time to avoid waiting — this place can get busy!
