San Francisco | Noodle Heaven for $15 a Bowl
As the weather cools down, nothing hits the spot like a warm, comforting bowl of noodles. Mifen 101 has practically become my go-to canteen — for just $15 a bowl, it feels like a quick trip back to China. After work, I just want to grab my buddies and head there for a noodle-slurping session! (Heads-up: it can get busy around 6-7 PM, but you can always order pickup and enjoy it at home 🏠) You really can’t go wrong with any of their noodle dishes, but here are my favorites ⬇️ ⭐ Lu Fen (Braised Noodles) This time I tried the Lu Fen — a tossed noodle style, dry but full of flavor! Served with braised beef and offal, it’s a satisfying combo. ⭐ Red Sour Soup Hot Pot Noodles If you like spice, go for the regular spicy level — it’s tangy, fiery, and super appetizing! The sour soup base is incredibly fragrant. ⭐ Golden Soup Noodles This one seems less popular, but it’s a personal favorite. The golden broth pairs perfectly with fish slices — a must-try when you’re craving fish noodles. If you’re dining with friends, order some braised dishes on the side to share with your noodles — highly recommended! 📍 Mifen 101 841 Villa St, Mountain View, CA 94041 #BayAreaEats #BayAreaLife #SFBayArea #WeekendInTheBay #BayAreaFoodie #BayAreaWeekend #StudentMeals #FoodDiary #Mifen101
