San Francisco | Revisiting 7 Adams 🌟 Chef’s Counter Menu (9.12.24)
Brought back a bottle of Japanese sake from my trip to Japan 🇯🇵 and decided to revisit 7 Adams—now a Michelin-starred spot! Wanted to see how it’s evolved since earning its star. While their regular table course is cheaper, I opted for the exclusive Chef’s Counter Menu (only 6 seats per night!). Verdict? Still solid! 🍽️ The Highlights: Same iconic dishes: The spicy-sour chicken wings stuffed with sausage 🍗🔥 (still a must-order!). New standout: A uni, salmon roe, and egg yolk appetizer 🧡—rich, briny, and unforgettable. Wagyu pasta 🥩 was tasty, though the duck and halibut mains were just okay. Desserts: Not too sweet, perfectly balanced. ☺️ 💰 Why It’s Worth It: Huge portions for the price (rare for Michelin spots!). BYOB-friendly with a super affordable corkage fee—great for sharing bottles with friends. Five-course option is even more budget-friendly (and still filling!). ⚠️ Minor Downsides: Service and seasoning felt slightly less polished than my first visit. But hey—for a satisfying, wallet-friendly Michelin meal, it’s still a win. 📍 7 Adams San Francisco (check site for exact address) #SFfoodie #MichelinOnABudget #7Adams #BayAreaEats #BYOB 🍾✨
