San Francisco | Union Square in the City Center Seems So Desolate ๐ฎ
I went for a stroll around Union Square in the city center during a free weekend. It took me about fifteen minutes to walk there from home ๐. On the way, I even passed through a tunnel, which made me a bit scared ๐. โ๏ธ I have to say, the weather in San Francisco is just amazing โ๏ธ. The sun is shining brightly, and the slopes of the streets make for great photo - taking opportunities ๐ซ. The city center here is similar to those in big domestic cities, filled with iconic buildings and lined with top - tier international brands. ๐ I took a look inside Macy's. The mall was so quiet. You could barely see anyone at counters of brands like MK and Coach. Are people just not coming here to shop anymore? ๐ฌ I also noticed that many store counters had moved out, and in some cases, entire malls had been vacated. I heard it was because of the mask - wearing period in the past. A lot of people would engage in zero - dollar shopping (shoplifting) in stores. There are very few people walking on the streets, making it rather desolate. It doesn't have that bustling, busy vibe you'd expect from a city center. ๐ However, there are the must - ride cable cars here. I heard these cable cars have been around for over 150 years. They are an iconic mode of transportation in San Francisco and offer a unique tourist experience. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery and the steep streets of San Francisco while riding them. #SanFrancisco #WhereToGoOnTheWeekend #USA ๐๐
