San Francisco Dining Credit Picks β Half-Year Edition π½οΈπ³
As the year winds down, making the most of the CSR Annual Dining Credit ($300 total, $150 every six months) is a must. In the Bay Area, most eligible restaurants are in SF or on the Peninsula β but I spotted two in Oakland and chose Popoca Oakland after comparing reviews. π Booked two weeks ahead for an early evening slot. They open around 5:30 PM for dinner only. Located in downtown Oakland, street parking is fairly easy and free after 6 PM, so Iβd recommend reserving for 6 PM or later. The vibe was warm and inviting. We ordered family-style to share: π Pollo Campero (chicken) π Lengua (beef tongue) π Chancho (pork) π Lamb All dishes were delicious and surprisingly impressive β flavorful, well-executed, and perfect for sharing. We skipped the $75/person tasting menu (likely designed for CSR credit use) and didnβt order drinks. The total came to $165 including 20% tip. My partner and I agreed β this could be our year-end dinner spot next year! πΈ The CSR credit posted two days after the meal, smooth and simple. Honestly, this new perk feels like a fun little game β planning ahead, trying new spots, and savoring every bite π. π Popoca Oakland β Great for CSR dining credit π Dinner only | Street parking free after 6 PM #CSRDiningCredit #ChaseSapphireReserve #PopocaOakland #OaklandEats #DiningPerks #CreditCardHacks #YearEndFeast #ShareablePlates #BayAreaFoodie #TreatYourself π₯β¨
