π San Francisco Hike / A Sandy Stairway to the Beach
π Itβs so hot today π« β perfect day for some ocean breeze! We chose Baker Beach, which offers several scenic hiking trails down to the shore. You get exercise and gorgeous views all in one! Fun fact: Eileen Guβs family lives in the upscale neighborhood right above this beach. π We took the Sand Ladder β a long, straight staircase made of wood and sand, surrounded by beautiful purple lupine flowers. The descent was easy, and we reached the beach in no time ποΈ! Lots of people were sunbathing π, walking dogs, running, fishing π£β¦ And if you spot naked sunbathers, donβt be surprised π β this is a well-known clothing-optional beach! Youβre more likely to see some skin on hot days, but it was pretty crowded today, so no luck this time π. π Nearby, the Batteries to Bluffs Trail leads all the way to the base of the Golden Gate Bridge. The coastal views are stunning, and during low tide, you can spot lots of marine life! Iβve shared about this trail before. Today, there was a group up at the battery near the bridge with super long lenses β really curious what they were filming! π ΏοΈ Street parking is available where signs allow. Baker Beach also has a parking lot and restrooms π». π Location: Search βSand Ladder, San Francisco, CA 94129β or simply βBaker Beachβ on Google Maps. #ThatBeachIAlwaysWantedToVisit #HikingAdventures
