Sanjusangendo 🌸🌿(1)

Sanjusangendo, formally known as "Renji-ōin", is a Tendai sect Buddhist temple in Japan. 🏯 🌸🌿 After four large-scale renovations, it has been preserved for 700 years. It gets its name from the fact that the front is divided into 33 bays by columns. 🌸🌿 In the Main Hall, centered around the colossal statue of "Eleven-Faced Thousand-Armed Thousand-Eyed Kannon", there are 500 Buddhist statues on each side, 🌸🌿 making a total of 1001 Kannon statues enshrined, making it the only Senju Kannon Hall in Japan. 🙏 #Sanjusangendo 🌸 #JapaneseCulturalHeritage 🌿 #BuddhistTemple 🍃
