Santa Barbara|A Locals-Recommended Spanish Restaurant 🔥
While planning my Santa Barbara trip, I came across Loquita Santa Barbara and made a reservation a week in advance (it’s super popular during holidays! 🔥). Later, while shopping at Paseo Nuevo, a store clerk casually recommended the same restaurant to us—I laughed and said, "We’re actually heading there soon!" 🔥 By 5 PM, there was already a long line outside Loquita. It seemed to calm down a bit after 7 PM. 📋 Here’s what we ordered—all highly recommended: Jamon Tasting 🌟🌟🌟🌟 A trio of Spanish hams and sausages: Serrano ham, Iberico ham, and acorn-fed chorizo. All were delicious, especially the Serrano—I wanted to order a whole plate of it! 🥓 Mariscos 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Spanish seafood paella. I could only try a little due to my seafood allergy, but it tasted just as great as other authentic Spanish spots! 🥘 Repollitos 🌟🌟🌟🌟 These are Brussels sprouts, but trust me—they’re absolutely incredible here! A must-order. 🥬 Pic 5 shows part of the menu with my recommended dishes circled! 🍹 The restaurant is located in the Funk Zone, an area packed with trendy bars, boutiques, and art spots. It’s super close to Paseo Nuevo—perfect for shopping followed by a great meal! 📍 Address: 202 State St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 🅿️ Parking: There’s a large lot next to the train station across the street—free for the first 75 minutes! #CaliforniaTravel #SoCalGuide #USATravel #DateNightSpot #HiddenRestaurantGems
