Santa Fe, New Mexico | 2 Days & Nights of Food Diary 🍽️
Spent two days in Santa Fe with friends — here’s my little food recap! 🌶️ La Boca ⭐️⭐️⭐️ A popular Spanish spot with a touch of Mexican fusion — like their Fish Taco with crispy chorizo! 🐟🌮 Highlights: Truffle mushroom Bruschetta — salty but addictive. Paella, steak, and mussels were just okay. Not sure it’s worth the long wait, but the vibe is nice. 🌶️ Izanami ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Japanese restaurant inside the famous Ten Thousand Waves spa hotel. Not mind-blowing, but the Wagyu Ishiyaki and Black Sesame Noodles were tasty. 🍜 Dessert alert: Hojicha Panna Ctta = yummy! Chestnut cake? Skip it. 🍮 🌶️ Paloma ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Resy-booked gem near City Center — we went for brunch! Highlights: Ceviche 🍋 Short Rib Hash (with black beans — so New Mexican!) PAN FRANCESA — my fave! 🍞 Think French toast, but better: not soggy, easy to cut, made with house brioche, served with guava maple syrup and light cream. A memorable sweet treat! The decor is cute Peruvian-inspired, and service was great. 🌶️ Iconik Coffee Roasters ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stumbled upon this coffee shop — what a hidden gem! ☕ Ordered the Horchata Latte (perfect blend!) and a Matcha Latte (not too sweet — just right). Loved the vibe here! 📌 Tip: Better to make reservations in Santa Fe — it’s tourist-friendly but not overcrowded. Slow-paced and charming. The adobe buildings and strings of dried chile peppers (ristras) everywhere give such a cozy, “back home” feeling. Fun fact: Ristras aren’t just decor — they symbolize hospitality and good luck in New Mexican culture. 🍀🌶️ Perfect souvenir idea! #Santa Fe #NewMexicoTravel #NewMexicoFood #FoodDiary #TravelEats #SouthwestFlavor 🇺🇸
