Santa Fe, New Mexico | Tonight, We All Believe in Magic ✨

We set out from Dallas, driving along historic Route 66 🛣️, passing by the legendary free 72 oz steak challenge spot and the iconic Cadillac Ranch. After nearly 10 hours on the road, we finally arrived at this golden city nestled in the mountains—Santa Fe. The city is compact and perfect for exploring on foot. With its numerous museums, charming boutiques, and buildings that look like they were sculpted from clay, Santa Fe radiates a strong Indigenous and Mexican vibe. 🏺🌵 We also drove into the mountains near Taos. Standing in the snow, watching the shimmering river weave through red-hued grasses, with the gentle yet brilliant sun glowing over the distant snowy peaks ❄️🏔️—taking deep breaths of the crisp, cold air truly felt like a healing pause in what’s been a long and dusty year. Land of Enchantment indeed—tonight, we all believe in magic. 🔮💫 📌 Travel Tips: 1️⃣ Gas stations are plentiful within Texas, with small towns every so often. They become sparser after Amarillo, so plan ahead! ⛽ 2️⃣ Since this route isn’t near the border, there are no immigration checkpoints along the way. 🚘 3️⃣ One thing’s for sure—we’ll be back again! 🤎 #NewMexico #Santa Fe #LandOfEnchantment #RoadTrip #TravelMagic
