Santa Fe, New Mexico π΅
A Hotel in the Flowers, Lunch in a Gallery π₯£π΄ Choosing a hotel in Santa Fe was tough β so many unique options! We almost booked a hot springs resort, but ended up selecting Inn on the Alameda for its walkable location in the Old Town. And what a great choice it turned out to be! π Inn on the Alameda This charming hotel exceeded our expectations β location, amenities, service, atmosphere, and breakfast were all perfect! πΈ The complimentary breakfast was delicious and varied, served with a view of blooming spring flowers. They even offer free takeaway boxes β so thoughtful! πΆ Walk Everywhere Canyon Road (the famous gallery street) was just three blocks away. Museums, churches, city hall, the historic plaza β everything was within walking distance. We explored from 10 AM to 5:30 PM without using our car once. How blissful! π¨ Lunch in a Gallery We stumbled upon a lovely New American restaurant tucked away in a quiet alley. Though we didnβt have a reservation, the host warmly welcomed us (especially when hearing we were from LA!). We ordered: Organic salad π₯ Onion rings Fried chicken cutlet Scottish salmon π The food was refined, fresh, and surprisingly affordable β just $107 for a memorable meal. The salmon was a highlight! Santa Fe feels like one big open-air gallery β its adobe architecture and creative spirit blend seamlessly. You can wander peacefully, pop into galleries, or enjoy a spontaneous meal. A true treasure! #Santa Fe #NewMexico #ArtTravel #WalkableCity #InnOnTheAlameda #USRoadTrip
