👏🏻 I made a reservation with a deposit in advance to dine at Sazon, one of Santa Fe’s most famous Mexican restaurants—and it turned out to be the most memorable culinary experience of my trip! Many recommended the duck skin tacos, but unfortunately, they were sold out when I visited. 😢 🍴 The meal began with tacos served with five distinct sauces: from left to right—sweet, sweet-salty, salty, salty-spicy, and spicy. Each was unique and delicious! 😋 Next came a stunning soup: topped with cocoa powder, followed by a foam made from a local spirit, and a rich crab broth at the base. The layers of flavor were absolutely incredible! 👍🏻 For the main course, I ordered duck breast with a sauce reminiscent of apple pie filling, paired with slightly tangy beetroot. It was indescribably good! For dessert, many had recommended avocado ice cream, but it wasn’t on the menu. The server mentioned a “mystery dessert” that you wouldn’t recognize until you tasted it—and it was exactly what I wanted!
