Santa Monica｜🦞 Gotta Go All-Out on Seafood by the Ocean! 🌊

Went to Santa Monica with a friend to stroll, feel the breeze, and ended up at Water Grill for some seafood and drinks! 🍸 🦞 Cold Plates: We ordered 2 servings of uni (sea urchin)—each had about 5 generous slices—and a half dozen cocktail shrimp. The portion was huge! I’ve had their oysters before too, super fresh and sweet. And let me tell you—this uni was, no exaggeration, the best I’ve had all year! So sweet and clean, zero weird aftertaste! 🏆 🦞 Appetizers: We got fried calamari and clam chowder. The calamari was crispy outside, tender inside, and super fragrant. The clam chowder was rich and delicious, especially with crackers or bread dipped in—so satisfying! 🥣✨ 🦞 Mains: We went for the lobster roll and a whole lobster—ate like royalty! 🦞💥 Note: They also have a “lobster roll” on the sushi menu, so be careful not to mix them up when ordering! 🦞 Cocktails: Their drink menu changes often. This time, I tried one with kiwi (forgot the name, sorry!)—it was refreshing and light on the alcohol, really enjoyable! 🥝🍹 All in all, had an amazing meal! With tip, it came to around $170 per person—a nice treat-yourself kind of day! 😊 Even though it was a bit cloudy, the weather was cool and breezy—super relaxing and mood-boosting!
