Saskatoon
👀👀The streets in Downtown Saskatoon are extremely wide and the roadsides are very clean.😃😃 🙊🙊It’s only early November, but Christmas decorations are already up on the streets 🎄 Midtown Mall is also located here.😝 I find this city very clean, with wide roads, no traffic jams, and the people are friendly. ☀️☀️ I don’t know why so many people think it’s just average✊✊ Ⓜ️There’s a Cantonese restaurant called Chef Pan that’s amazing—at least the few dishes I tried were. 🌷 🌿However, their roasted meats need to be pre-ordered. 🐭 😲😲The owner brews his own alcohol, and the beer he makes is fantastic, with a hint of rose 🌹🌹flavor and no bitterness. I think any place with good drinks 🥛🥛is perfect for a lightweight like me 😄 🎋St. Paul Co-Cathedral has many stained glass windows, but you can’t enter on Sundays during services; it’s open on weekdays and Saturdays. 🌵🌵 🥚There are many other churches nearby, all with beautiful exteriors, but none are accessible on Sundays. 🥯🥐 👂👂The Delta Hotel Bessborough, one of Saskatoon’s landmark buildings, is right next to this cathedral.👣 The Meewasin Trail is also near the cathedral, running along the river.💧💧 Walking👣👣 along this trail, you’ll pass many churches, all surrounding the Saskatchewan River.❣️❣️ Lots of locals take their kids for walks👣 here. To get to the University of Saskatchewan, you need to cross a bridge. 🍆🍆 The University Bridge offers nice views, especially in the evening with the sunset—it’s great for photos 🌉 There’s a teaching building at the University of Saskatchewan called the Geometry Building.🌼🌼 🐾 On weekends, you can only enter through the main door, as the side doors are closed. Inside the building, there are 5 small aquariums, as well as housing frogs, snakes, and some unknown rodents. 🦋 There are also dinosaur skeleton models and displays of geological rocks and raw minerals. The architectural style of the campus has a bit of a retro feel.👉👈👉👈 Wanuskewin is a hiking area and a First Nations cultural exhibition site. You can see many yaks 🦬 (I think they’re yaks).😃😃 🌈🌈 The holes in the ground are dug by groundhogs, and there’s a children’s playground with the usual park facilities. 🦋🦋 There are tour groups here at reasonable prices,💰 but I’m not sure what they cover—probably a guided walk with introductions? 👀👀👀 The wind on the prairie is extremely strong, so make sure to wear warm clothes and pants. 👣🌼 The visitor center has exhibits on First Nations cultural clothing, history, and artworks.🏖️🏖️ #GoTravel #TheWorldOutside #SnowyOwl #Saskatoon #Canada
