Seattle’s Hidden Gem Italian Restaurant

85-dollar Tasting Menu with 9 Courses First time trying Ethan Stowell’s restaurant, Staple & Fancy, located in Ballard. I really liked it❤️ The restaurant has an industrial vibe, and the staff are quite friendly. Happy hour is every day from 5-6 pm (the selection is pretty good, with cocktails🍹for 10 dollars a glass). I ordered the highly recommended 85-dollar tasting menu. Ate 9 courses with almost no misses. And the contents of the tasting menu feel like they’re carefully selected, not just thrown together for quantity. From beef tartare to tuna crudo, From pasta🍝 to steak🥩 to panna cotta with crushed pistachios, It was a very satisfying meal😋 Added an extra 36-dollar seared foie gras. Though not cheap, it was indeed delicious. I really liked the base of crispy polenta instead of the usual toasted bread. Didn’t expect the corn🌽 flavor to pair so well with the foie gras and the strawberry sauce. It’s a place I definitely want to visit again! #ItalianCuisine #RestaurantRecommendation #AtmosphericRestaurant #HiddenGemRestaurant #SeattleLife #SeattleFood #SeattleWeekend #SeattleFoodExploration
