Second Trip to Las Vegas

On the last day, we kept it casual—wandered around The Venetian and Wynn, and grabbed an almond croissant and hazelnut cake from Bouchon Bakery. 🥐 The croissant was flaky and crisp. 🍰 The cake had a sweet, creamy outer layer that tasted a bit rich on its own, but paired with the moist cake inside and lots of hazelnuts, it was pretty good overall. At Wynn 🎰, I tried the slots—$5 on a $0.75-per-spin machine. Lost a few times, then won $0.60, then $0.10, then lost again… ended up cashing out $0.50 in vouchers to take home. In less than 2 minutes, $5 turned into $0.50 😅. With a little time left before heading home, I tried Zoox—riding from Fashion Show Mall to AREA15 and back. Currently, it only runs point-to-point between a few locations. Best to message via the app's Help chat to confirm stops—not all marked spots are actually serviced. The car circled the Fashion Show Mall parking lot twice, adding about 10 extra minutes. A trip estimated at 11 minutes took 24 minutes. Vehicles are pretty available though—usually a 5–10 minute wait. Checked out AREA15 briefly—not really my vibe, so I passed. Took Zoox back to Fashion Show Mall, walked the skybridge back to The Venetian to grab my luggage, then headed to the airport. Finally saw the Sphere display! 😍 They say it’s easier to catch in the early morning or evening—most of the time it’s just ads. (It was 3:02 PM when I saw it.) #LasVegas #VegasEats #DessertHeaven #SummerTreats #DominiqueAnsel
