Second Visit to Mineral | Toronto’s Delightfully Strange Eats 🌟
Back at Mineral a year later! Since my last experience was so fantastic, I decided to try the Tasting Menu this time, and it was, once again, an incredibly satisfying meal. Recommended Dishes: /Tuna Kinilaw/ 🐟: Tuna marinated and served with passion fruit and avocado, topped with shrimp chips. It has a light, tangy sweetness that's very appetizing. /Pineapple + Kombu/ 🍍: A combination of pineapple and Lao Gan Ma (a spicy Chinese condiment). It sounds unusual but is incredibly addictive—thin, sweet pineapple slices coated with crispy garlic flavored like Lao Gan Ma. Hard to imagine, but trust me, it’s delicious! 😋 /Ensaymada + Foie Gras & Duck Prosciutto/ 🍞🍖: A fluffy, cream-topped bread paired with foie gras creates an explosion of flavor in your mouth! This was, in my opinion, the highlight of the meal (even surpassing the bread at Alo). The duck prosciutto didn’t add much and felt unnecessary compared to the foie gras. /Scallop Inari Pockets/ 🦐: A combination of scallops and red shrimp—how could it possibly be bad? I’m puzzled why it wasn’t included in the Tasting Menu. /Turbot Sinigang/ 🐟: A slightly sweet soup, perfect with rice. The turbot was cooked very tenderly and paired with daikon radish. I think the fish itself was excellent, but the accompanying side was a bit too tangy. 💰 Tasting Menu: $95 CAD per person I’d suggest ordering a few dishes you’re interested in for your first visit; the Tasting Menu, with around 8 courses, left me so full I felt like I might burst! #TorontoLife #TorontoEats #TorontoRestaurants #DeliciousDining #TorontoFoodie #RestaurantRecommendations #TorontoGatherings #TorontoFood ### Name: Mineral Address: 1027 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M4W 2K9 Type: Restaurant ###
