Second Visit🌟Michelin-Starred Korean Cuisine! Will Definitely Return!
Visiting JUA for the second time felt even better than the first! 🎉 Though the dishes may look similar, the flavors were more refined this time, and a few standout additions truly wowed us. JUA remains absolutely worth the visit! ✨ 1️⃣ Caviar Kim - Caviar Sushi! Piled high with luxurious caviar, layered with tender raw beef and creamy avocado, all wrapped in a thick, crispy seaweed sheet. A perfect bite of umami! 💖 2️⃣ Shima Aji Sashimi The fish was incredibly fresh, with a light, delicate seasoning that let the natural flavors shine. 🐟🌿 3️⃣ Abalone Porridge The porridge had a rich, velvety broth with perfectly separated rice grains, infused with a creamy, comforting flavor. Last time, we tried it without abalone—adding it this time made a HUGE difference! The extra layer of texture and depth was amazing. 🥣✨ 4️⃣ Pan-Seared Branzino Hands down, the best Branzino I’ve ever had! The skin was crispy and golden, while the flesh remained buttery-soft. The real star was the sauce—a magical blend of smoky and creamy notes that elevated the dish to another level. My top favorite of the night! 🐟🔥 5️⃣ Lamb Chop & Side Dishes The lamb was incredibly tender, with no chewy bits, and the accompanying sides were just as meticulously prepared—each bite was a delight! 🍖🌿 6️⃣ Orange Sorbet A burst of refreshing, tangy orange flavor—perfect for cleansing the palate! 🍊❄️ 7️⃣ Sweet Potato Donut Just like the Taiwanese night market sweet potato balls! The outside had a delicate caramelized crunch, while the inside was delightfully chewy. Served with black sesame ice cream, though I still think the savory cheese ice cream from last time paired even better! 🍠🍩 📍 JUA 36 E 22nd St, New York, NY 10010 💗 Like | ⭐️ Save | 🙋🏻♀️ Follow for more NYC food adventures!
