Seoul ⇋ Busan | 4D3N Travel Guide ✨
✈️ Wenzhou Longwan Airport 🔁 Seoul Incheon Airport 🏨 Seoul Mapo Glade Hotel (Super friendly for first-time travelers to South Korea! It’s right next to a subway station, making it super convenient to reach popular spots by bus 🚌 or subway 🚇. You can take the subway directly from Incheon Airport to the hotel, but we chose an airport bus that day—it was just as easy. Plus, the hotel provides plug adapters~) Day 1️⃣ After checking into the hotel in the evening, we found a popular water celery Korean BBQ spot nearby. Personally, I thought it was just “okay”—the meat was tender, and a staff guy helped grill it, which was nice. Later, we went to Hongdae (Hongik University area)—but honestly, wandering around Hongdae at night felt like being a headless chicken! South Korea’s winter nights are so cold, so we headed back to the hotel early 🥶. Day 2️⃣ Myeong-dong → Seongsu-dong → Yeouido Hyundai Department Store Myeong-dong: Explored Comic Book Street, visited the largest The North Face store, and accidentally checked out the popular Yoo’s Chicken Galbi (a famous teppanyaki chicken spot). Seongsu-dong: Stopped by the (Instagram-famous) Onion Coffee Shop and browsed many local Korean designer brands. Yeouido Hyundai Department Store: We had to visit this filming location of Queen of Tears! The B2 floor is full of local Korean brands—total must-see ❗️❗️ Day 3️⃣ Busan Day Trip (For my friend and I, Busan’s slow pace felt really cozy 😌) After arriving in Busan, we took a taxi to Songdo Marine Cable Car. Definitely book a round-trip ticket—one-way is too short for photos! 🚡 Tried Busan-style rice (Busan-bap)—it was decent but a bit hard to digest. Visited Xthesky (a skyscraper with panoramic views of Busan) and checked in at the highest Starbucks in the city ☕. Rode the Capsule Train: Book tickets online in advance (tickets for the next two weeks go live every Tuesday 🎫). We chose the route from Mia-ri to Cheongsapo—you’re greeted by the sea as soon as you set off, and once you get off, you’ll find a “Korean-style Kamakura” spot perfect for photos. It was amazing! 🚂 Planned to take a yacht but missed it by just one minute—plus, Busan’s traffic gets crazy after 4 PM! After dinner, we took the high-speed train back to Seoul Station 🚄. Busan is totally worth a full day of exploring! Day 4️⃣ Off to Incheon Airport 🛫 Who said you need to arrive 3 hours early? If you don’t have checked luggage, it’s totally unnecessary! Tried some airport snacks: Vanilla Seed Latte (too sweet), fish cake skewers (too greasy), and hotteok (Korean sweet pancake)—my friend loved it, but I thought it was just okay. Still, when in Rome (or Seoul), you gotta try them! Wrap-Up: We totally conquered this little South Korea trip! Next time, we’ll take it slow for shopping and try the “Korean girl beauty trio” (hair, nails, skincare) 😜. #KoreaTravel #Seoul #Busan #CapsuleTrain #TravelIsTheBestWayToRecordYouth #RelaxedTravel #TravelBits #Tourism #FujiCamera #SeongsuDong
