SEY Coffee, Brooklyn, NY 🌟
On a Sunday morning, I made the trek from Downtown to SEY Coffee, which is known as one of the best coffee spots in the U.S.! It’s located in Brooklyn, and while it’s about a 25-minute Uber ride from Midtown (costing around $50-$60), the store is super close to Morgan Ave station, so the subway is a great option too. 🚇 🌿 The neighborhood has that quintessential Brooklyn vibe—you know, artsy and bustling. The atmosphere inside the café is really nice, with a cozy, community feel. It was packed with customers, and the seating was pretty much always full. 🌿 I tried both the latte and the pour-over. SEY only uses Aeropress for their pour-over (which actually ensures a consistent quality, so that’s a plus). The latte was pretty standard, nothing extraordinary but nothing wrong either. The Aeropress brew had a strong citrus note, which was quite pleasant. 🍋 🌿 However, the café mainly focuses on Colombian and Ethiopian beans, and there weren’t any standout beans like Panama or other unique ones. But the prices are quite reasonable, which is a big plus. 💰 In conclusion, it’s definitely worth a visit to check out and experience the Brooklyn coffee scene. But considering the location and the lack of top-tier beans, it might not be worth the trip specifically for the coffee. 🌇 🌿 Here’s the address for those who want to visit: 18 Grattan St, Brooklyn, NY 11206. #CoffeeShop #PourOver #SEYCoffee #NYC 🍵
