SF’s Folsom Street Fair Is Back For 2025 — Here’s What To Know About The Kink Fair

Folsom Street Fair is one of San Francisco’s most iconic — and unique— events each year. The annual street fair is in its 42nd year of celebrating kink, leather, and alternative sex communities. The fair covers several blocks on Folsom Street, between 7th and 13th streets. You can expect seven stages, all with distinct themes, such as drag, live music, bondage, and more. The fair started in 1984 and acts as the final event of Leather Pride season in San Francisco. The fair starts at 11 a.m. this weekend on Sunday, September 28, and runs until 6 p.m. that evening . In addition to the numerous performances, you can expect food and drink vendors, including Sunrise Deli, Melina’s Kitchen, and Tante’s. Some of the outdoor bars that are participating include Oasis, The Stud, Cat Club, and more. Bondage stage: 11th St between Howard and Folsom, at Kissling * This year’s bondage stage has over 100 performers with simultaneous rope performances. STUD Drag Stage: 8th Street between Folsom and Howard * Iconic bar The STUD is hosting drag and a leather contest. Live Music Stage: 9th Street at Clementina St * 7 hours of live music from various performers, including The Gallery, Agender, and more. The Playground: 10th St between Folsom and Howard * The playground is specifically for women, trans, and non-binary people attending the fair. Wrestle Stage: 11th St, between Folsom and Harrison. * Watch queer wrestling presented by Full Queer.
