SF | Collina โ€” A Cozy New Sister to Seven Hills! ๐Ÿ๐ŸŒฟ

With chilly weather setting in and a trip coming up, I craved one more Italian meal before leaving the U.S. Last night, I booked a last-minute dinner at Collina โ€” a spot with few reviews but high ratings. When we arrived, a small sign outside read: โ€œthe little hill of Seven Hills.โ€ Ah โ€” the sister restaurant of beloved Seven Hills! Instantly felt at ease. We ordered lightly for two: ๐Ÿฅ— Star Route Chicory Salad โ€“ Layers of bitter chicory, sweet pear, tangy pomegranate, dressed simply with oil and salt. Refreshing and far from boring. ๐ŸฅŸ Raviolo โ€“ Like a delicate, savory-sweet โ€œegg yolk mooncakeโ€! Thin pasta filled with pumpkin, cheese, and a soft egg center. ๐Ÿ Spaghettini โ€“ Homestyle but delicious. Tomatoes, basil, garlic, and a touch of chili for a gentle kick. Everything was so good โ€” we cleared our plates. Great value for SF, with consistent, satisfying flavors. When a server asked how it compared to Seven Hills, I smiled โ€” Collina holds its own. Seven Hills has truly become โ€œEight Hillsโ€ now. Maybe tables will be easier to get from here on ๐Ÿ˜‰. ๐Ÿ“ Collina โ€“ Sister of Seven Hills ๐ŸŒง๏ธ Cozy, intimate, perfect for chilly evenings #CollinaSF #SevenHillsSister #ItalianInSF #SFDinner #ComfortFood #RavioloLove #BayAreaItalian #HiddenGem #WeeknightDinner #GoodValueMeal ๐Ÿง€๐Ÿท
