California aquariums aren't just about Monterey Bay Aquarium ๐๐Steinhart Aquarium is also a fantastic spot for photoshoots ๐ท! Located inside the California Academy of Sciences ๐งช, it's quite an impressive place. I went there mainly to see the penguin chicks ๐ง (the feeding starts at 3:00 PM ๐), but I unexpectedly discovered an incredibly beautiful aquarium. ๐งช California Academy of Sciences It has four main sections: ๐ณ Aquarium Take the elevator from the Rainforest area to the aquarium. The giant glass fish tanks are perfect for photoshoots ๐ธ, and since they're circular, you can always find a spot to capture the entire fish tank, no matter how crowded it is! ๐ฆ Rainforest A tropical rainforest filled with countless butterflies ๐ฆ. It's so beautiful and photogenic! ๐ Planetarium Remember to book your tickets online in advanceโ If you don't book, you'll have to wait in line on-site. We were lucky to get in after waiting in line since we didn't know about the reservation system. The planetarium shows films about the universe and astronomy on a giant hemispherical screen, lasting about 20 minutes. It's like a must-see project from childhood science museum visitsโI loved it! ๐ฆ History Museum ๐ฃ Our route was Rainforest โก Aquarium โก Planetarium โก History Museum. It took us about 4 hours to explore the entire place. The closing time at 5:00 PM is a bit early, so I recommend arriving earlier! ๐ Opening Hours: 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM (11:00 AM on Sundays) ๐ Parking: There are many street parking spots nearby ๐.
