🍕 SF Dining | Flour + Water (Photo & Review)

The bar seats along the edge are perfect for people watching. I’ve wanted to visit this place for a while. Although I booked the tasting menu, it includes ten courses that are not only extensive but also pricey—and it doesn’t even include the pizza I’ve been eager to try. So, I decided to order à la carte. 📝 Apart from pizza and entrees, almost all the other dishes on the menu are available in half portions, which is super friendly for solo diners. I ended up ordering four dishes in total. 🍽️ Appetizers: - Amberjack Crudo (5/10) – I saw many people recommend the crudo, but I found it to be just okay. It didn’t leave a strong impression either way. 🍣 - Veal Carne Cruda (5.5/10) – This was recommended by the bartender. The crispy potato had a nice texture, but the overall seasoning was a bit too heavy for my taste. 🥔 🍕 Pizza: - Funghi (Mushroom) Pizza (8/10) – Just as everyone said, the mushroom pizza is delicious. The only thing that kept it from being perfect was the honey; I think a bit less would have been ideal. 🍄 🍝 Pasta: - Taleggio Scarpinocc (9/10) – This was the standout dish of the night! I asked the bartender for a recommendation, and she described it perfectly. It looks simple but has an amazing flavor that’s “very satisfying.” 🍝 I managed to eat only two slices of the pizza and took the rest home, where I enjoyed it for two more meals. I’d definitely come back here! 🥳 #BayAreaDining #BayAreaWeekend #BayAreaLife #BeautifulMeals #SFFoodie #SanFranciscoCuisine #ItalianInSF #SanFranciscoPizza
