Shakespeare's Hometown is Really Fun π
The train departs at 9 am from University station to Stratford-upon-Avon, and the journey takes about 1 hour π. Once you get off the train, you can directly head towards their city center for a stroll. My personal favorite is the Holy Trinity Church, the scenery there is truly stunning. At the Swan Theater, there are usually different performances. If you're interested, you can search online for their schedule π. Lunch was settled at Barnabyβs Fish with a fish and chips order. The taste was pretty good, but the portion was quite large. If you don't have a big appetite, it's recommended to share one portion between two people. The Shakespeare Distillery is one of the local specialties. They have a variety of different types of alcohol. Friends who enjoy a tipple can come and have a look. Finally, I also visited a local pub, The Stratford Alehouse. The place isn't very big, but the atmosphere is very cozy. After a long day of walking, it's quite interesting to sit down, chat, and relax. #WeekendGetaway #UK #Shakespeare #Shakespeare'sBirthplace #StratforduponAvon #StratforduponAvon #Birmingham #UKLife #UKTown
