🔥1.Ben Nevis (the highest mountain in the UK) 2.Loch Lomond ⭐These two places are beautiful attractions near the England-Scotland border. We drove about 2-3 hours from Newcastle to Loch Lomond, where we stayed overnight. The next day, we headed to Ben Nevis (2-3 hours' drive), stopping at Loch Katrine for a boat trip (£20 per person). If you have time, it's worth a visit. ⭐For accommodation, we chose camping this time, and fortunately, both campsites were excellent. They had hot showers, restaurants, and other facilities, and were very safe. The weather was great too—surprisingly warm, you could get by in shorts during the day. ⭐The camping site at Loch Lomond is called Milarrocgy Bay (£45), and the one at Ben Nevis is Glen Nevis Caravan (£35). Ben Nevis is quite touristy, with Chinese restaurants and a large supermarket—it's a very picturesque town. ⭐The only issue in Scotland this season is the abundance of flying insects—it's unimaginably many. For hiking enthusiasts, I recommend buying insect repellent spray and a mesh face mask (available at pharmacies). #Nature #ScenicViews
