Shop Exploration | Check-in at the Unpretentious French Restaurant Bouillon in Paris
🧐Finally, after passing by many times and being surprised by the long lines, I successfully ate at ❣️ bouillon chartier ❣️, this unpretentious French restaurant commonly known as Paris's big canteen. 🧩You might have heard that this restaurant has been open since 1896 and is famous for its classic French dishes. There are several branches in Paris, including one in Montparnasse, République, Gare de l'Est, and this one near the grand boulevards, Chartier. 🧩Queue time: We arrived at the door at 7:30 pm on Saturday and waited in line for about 40 minutes. It was easier for a couple to get in than other group combinations. If there are four, six, or even more people, you might need to wait a bit longer. You can order a small glass of 1 euro sangria while waiting in line, but I didn't drink it because I hadn't eaten and drinking on an empty stomach would be too much for my stomach. There are many choices for all types of dishes. It's not a problem to order two or three appetizers per person, and we also ordered three desserts haha. 😍The taste of the dishes is average, nothing that will make you gasp, but the price, the speed of service, and the taste are above average for French home-style cooking. The beef stew and the sausage wrapped in pork offal we ordered were very delicious! ⚠️Note: If you go with two people, it's very common to share a table with others, and four people sitting at one table each talking about their own things haha. 👍What's special here is that when you order, the dishes are written directly on the table paper, and the waiter does the math right on your table haha. For two people, we had four appetizers, two main courses, three desserts, a glass of red wine, and a bottle of coke, totaling 57 euros. If you don't speak French, you can definitely ask for an English menu, which is really convenient. Looking around, we saw many tourists who came because of the reputation. In short, don't miss it! #Paris Shop Exploration #Weekend Shop Exploration #Paris Food #French Cuisine
