Shop Exploration | Recommended French Bistro in Paris' Latin Quarter
馃グToday, I accidentally discovered this French restaurant in the 5th arrondissement of Paris. There are indeed many restaurants and bars nearby, but the specialty dishes of this place are quite attractive. 馃ЗOf course, there are classic appetizers like foie gras and salads, but the cassolette de coques au chorizo I ordered, I call it French cream stewed clams with Italian spicy sausage crumbs. Hahaha, the name is very long, but really, this is the first time I've seen a title that didn't give me any hint of what it would be, and I was amazed by the first bite! Paired with sliced baguette, it's really delightful. 馃槀They have set meals, 30 euros for an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert. I think the appetizer was more impressive than the main course. For the main course, I had duck legs with potatoes. The skin of the duck legs was very, very, very crispy. Perhaps this is what makes duck meat different from other meats; as soon as you bite into duck meat, you'll taste its unique saltiness, and the fatty parts really melt in your mouth. The potato slices were fried, so they were crispy instead of the cotton-like texture. 馃槚As for dessert, there's nothing much to look forward to, just the standard, unchanged cr猫me br没l茅e. I think all French restaurants' cr猫me br没l茅es are exactly the same, even the plates. 鉂o笍Location: LA FORGE 14 Rue Pascal, 75005 Paris #Paris Shop Exploration #Paris Restaurant #French Restaurant #Recommended French Food in Paris ### name: LA FORGE address: 14 Rue Pascal, 75005 Paris type:restaurant ###
