Showa Shinzan & Bear Ranch & Usu Mountain ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ๐
๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ๐ These three attractions are located together. Showa Shinzan is Japan's youngest active volcano, which erupted once in 2000, ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ๐ and you can still see white smoke rising from the mountain today Usu Mountain is right next to it; if you have extra time, you can take a 15-minute cable car ride up and walk on the wooden trails ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ๐ Just a short walk away, you'll arrive at the bear ranch, home to captive black bears, brown bears, and raccoons. During this season, you can buy small cookies and apples to feed them. ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ๐ The bears have been trained to stand, greet, and clap to get food. However, I'm not particularly interested in captive bears; ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ๐ they seem lazier compared to the wild bears in Abashiri, and it feels like they have some cognitive disorders, ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ๐ just walking back and forth along the same route๐ถ๐ปโโ๏ธ #Shลwa-shinzan#Hokkaido
