Sichuan-Style Shrimp Balls 🦐 & Spicy Green Pepper Fish 🐟

Last week, a friend took me to a hidden gem of a Chinese restaurant in Paris 🍴 It felt nothing like Paris—so authentic I thought I’d ordered takeout from Chunxi Road [crying laughing R] It was packed!! We got lucky and snagged the last table. The staff had to turn away multiple groups because the chef was overwhelmed [chef’s kiss] 🧑🏻‍🍳 Pro tip: Make a reservation in advance!!! What We Ordered: 🦐 Sichuan-Style Shrimp Balls Not your average Kung Pao—this is the “shrimp”-level upgrade!! Juicy, springy shrimp coated in crispy 🌶️ chili and peanuts 🥜, sweet with a spicy kick, every bite feels like a party in your mouth. 🐟 Spicy Green Pepper Fish (Jiangjin Style) HIGHLY recommend!!! The moment it arrived, the aroma screamed “Sichuan alert” ⚠️ The fish slices were so tender they melted in your mouth, with a numbing spice that hits just right. Green peppercorns are rare in Paris—this dish is rice’s best friend!! 🍖 Sichuan-Style Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs Different from the Jiangsu/Zhejiang version—this is Sichuan’s spicy twist!! Not sure if it suits everyone’s taste, but worth a try!! 🎃 Brown Sugar Pumpkin Pancakes Hidden gem of desserts!! Crispy outside, soft & sweet inside—ask for extra brown sugar!! Skipping dessert after this meal would be a soul crime [no] Hours: 12:00-14:30, 18:20-22:30 #ParisLife #ParisTravelGuide #ParisRestaurantRecommendations #ParisEats #ParisFoodie #HiddenGemParis #SichuanInParis #ParisTrip #FrenchChineseFood #ParisDining #CharmOfChineseCuisine
