Side Hustle for Students Abroad š
I was scrolling through my saved spots on Google Maps and realizedāafter years living in Berkeley and SF, Iāve explored almost every corner of this compact yet amazing area šŗļøā¤ļø. There are so many cafĆ©s, restaurants, museums, beautiful architecture, parks, and hidden gems for city walks and hiking trailsāall marked densely across the map! Hereās a seaside SF city walk route I tried recently: Start with a gentle climb at Fort Mason, then stroll along the coast š¶āāļøš. Stop by the pier to watch the sea lions, visit the famous Wave Organ to experience its acoustic vibes š¶, and end at the Palace of Fine Arts. Relax on the grass there and watch the seagulls āwashing their feetā š¦š. Catch the bus back from Aquatic CoveāI was even lucky enough to catch some leftover Independence Day fireworks! š (Allow 3-4 hours to fully enjoy this walk.) Since I was little, friends and family always told me: āYou love exploring and sharing stories so muchāyou should be a tour guide!ā Well, I ended up studying architecture instead šļøšāwhich is also great! Now I have the perfect excuse to travel: studying buildings, houses, public spaces, parks, museums⦠learning about history, culture, and local environments. Itās academic. Itās official. Itās the perfect cover for adventure š Maybe itās time to finally start that side hustle as a guide! Update (Nov 04, 2024): Recently, many people have been reaching outāthank you! š Currently, Iām only available on weekends. Weekdays are packed with school š«. #TravelTheWorld #SFGuide #Berkeley #UCBerkeley #USATourGuide #BayArea #WestCoastStudies
