Side Hustle for Students Abroad šŸŽ’

I was scrolling through my saved spots on Google Maps and realized—after years living in Berkeley and SF, I’ve explored almost every corner of this compact yet amazing area šŸ—ŗļøā¤ļø. There are so many cafĆ©s, restaurants, museums, beautiful architecture, parks, and hidden gems for city walks and hiking trails—all marked densely across the map! Here’s a seaside SF city walk route I tried recently: Start with a gentle climb at Fort Mason, then stroll along the coast šŸš¶ā€ā™€ļøšŸŒŠ. Stop by the pier to watch the sea lions, visit the famous Wave Organ to experience its acoustic vibes šŸŽ¶, and end at the Palace of Fine Arts. Relax on the grass there and watch the seagulls ā€œwashing their feetā€ šŸ¦†šŸ˜„. Catch the bus back from Aquatic Cove—I was even lucky enough to catch some leftover Independence Day fireworks! šŸŽ‡ (Allow 3-4 hours to fully enjoy this walk.) Since I was little, friends and family always told me: ā€œYou love exploring and sharing stories so much—you should be a tour guide!ā€ Well, I ended up studying architecture instead šŸ›ļøšŸ“ā€”which is also great! Now I have the perfect excuse to travel: studying buildings, houses, public spaces, parks, museums… learning about history, culture, and local environments. It’s academic. It’s official. It’s the perfect cover for adventure šŸ˜‰ Maybe it’s time to finally start that side hustle as a guide! Update (Nov 04, 2024): Recently, many people have been reaching out—thank you! šŸ™Œ Currently, I’m only available on weekends. Weekdays are packed with school šŸ«. #TravelTheWorld #SFGuide #Berkeley #UCBerkeley #USATourGuide #BayArea #WestCoastStudies
