Simón Bolívar’s Garden Residence
🌟▫️ Simón Bolívar was one of the outstanding leaders of the 19th-century Latin American independence movement. He actively participated in the resistance against Spanish colonial rule from 1810, leading a series of military campaigns in Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia. He is considered one of the main drivers of the Latin American liberation movement. 🌟▫️ We stumbled upon this place on the way to Monserrate, not far from the Gold Museum. We thought, since we were already there, why not take a look? Inside is a large garden, filled with a variety of plants and tall trees that make you feel like you’re in a forest. 🌟▫️ There are several rooms inside, displaying things that Simón Bolívar used. There’s a bedroom, a living room, a dining room, etc. I recommend going on Wednesday afternoons or Sundays (it’s free) 🎫 40,000 COP - Free on Wednesday afternoons and Sundays #CapturingThisVerdantScenery #OffTheBeatenPath #TimeForPhotos #Colombia #SimónBolívar #BotanicalGarden #Garden #SouthAmericaTravel #InternationalTravel #Bogota #bogota #VerdantScenery #IntriguingNewPlantsInMyLife
