Simple and Rough 😂 Sending a Kitten to France

🧩 I've driven to Europe many times, but this time I personally delivered a kitten to French parents. ❣️ Here's a simple and rough guide: 🧩 Book your round-trip train tickets from Folkstone to Calais through Eurotunnel in advance. 🧩 Round trips from Monday to Thursday only cost 66. Weekends are two to three times more expensive. ❣️ Make an appointment with the vet in advance to take care of the European health certificate. Go for a health check one or two days before departure. Since Brexit, the documents have become very complicated, with more than a dozen pages that need to be filled out, signed, and stamped by the vet. (You need to get a rabies vaccine, and it's only after 21 days that you can enter Europe, so be sure to get your kitten vaccinated in advance.) ❣️ With the customs documents and vaccine book ready, you can set off! You need to arrive at the Eurotunnel check-in vehicle one hour before the train ticket time, as well as go through passport control. After checking your pet's documents, you can drive in and wait for the train. 👍 The first few carriages are for small animals, with two levels. The last few carriages are single-level, specifically for large vehicles, vans, and lorries. Just drive onto the train and wait to cross the Eurotunnel. It takes half an hour to reach Calais in France. ❣️ After arriving, follow the cars in front out and directly get on the French highway. Remember that France drives on the right, so don't go against traffic. I once went against traffic when driving through a roundabout on my first trip to France, which was very dangerous! #France #FrenchDiary #MyTravelDiary #TravelingWithDogs #MustVisitForDogs #CheckIn #Guide #Recommendation
