🍜 So Good! A Must-Try Xi’an Famous Foods Experience! 🌶️👌

I’d heard about this popular chain and always wanted to try it! While on a business trip to Newark, I found out there was a location near the Path station and made sure to stop by. 🚉💼 I arrived around 1 PM, and the place was packed — in fact, it stayed busy the whole time I was there! At first, I was a bit worried about finding a seat, but I have to say: everyone was so respectful of their own time ⏱️ — they ate quickly and left promptly! They also totally respected the restaurant’s sign: “This restaurant is unmanaged and uncleaned — please clean up after yourself.” And you know what? The place was spotless! 🧼✨ I ordered using their self-service kiosk, and my food came in about 15 minutes. The kitchen is open, so you can see the team hustling in the back — they were working nonstop! The energy was just so lively! 🍳🔥 And the food? REALLY DELICIOUS! The flavors were amazing!! The cucumber salad 🥒 might be the best I’ve ever had — thanks to that incredible chili oil, but the fresh smashed cucumbers were fantastic too. I tried the spicy cumin beef with hand-ripped noodles — so flavorful! The noodles were great, though looong — a bit challenging to eat without diving face-first into the bowl! 😅 My only small note: the beef had some thick fat/connective tissue and not a lot of meat — so I ended up eating just a bit of it. But that sauce and those noodles — I LOVED them! If I go back (and I definitely will!), I’ll order the lamb version prepared the same way. 🐑❤️ I thought the prices were fair, portions were solid, and the taste was absolutely worth it.
