Solo Travel Guide to New York City! Happy and Safe Edition
1️⃣ Food 📍 Shu Jiao Fu Zhou (Near Chinatown) This place comes highly recommended! I visited several times during my trip because it's really affordable! Dishes like mixed noodles, fish ball soup, beef tendon soup, and beef offal soup are all around $3 USD, and they taste great. Plus, no tipping required, but cleanliness might not be top-notch. 📍 Woorijip (Near Ktown) This Korean spot focuses on takeout with about 20 seats available. Korean main dishes like tofu stew, stir-fried noodles, and soybean paste stew average $6-7 USD. Rice costs $2 USD. I was really hungry, so I ordered soybean paste stew, fish cake soup, and rice for about $12 USD. Plus, no tipping here either, and you get a 10% discount for cash payments! 2️⃣ Sights Statue of Liberty ➡️ Take the Staten Island Ferry for free. Brooklyn Bridge ➡️ Free to visit. Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA) ➡️ Free entry. 9/11 Memorial Museum ➡️ Around $80 if bought online. Rockefeller Observation Deck ➡️ Around $110 during sunset if bought online. There are quite a few free attractions in New York, and skipping expensive cultural spots like natural history museums and art galleries can save money and time, as they often have long queues. #BudgetTravelUSA #NewYorkTravel #BudgetNYC #
