Some Taro Okamoto Inspiration Recharge ๐ŸŒŸ

๐ŸŽข๐ŸƒEarly this May, I visited both the Taro Okamoto Memorial Hall in South Aoyama, Tokyo, and the Taro Okamoto Museum of Art in Kawasaki, all in one trip. Coupled with my previous visits to the Osaka Expo '70 Sun Tower and some random encounters like the Children's Tree in South Aoyama and the massive mural "Myth of Tomorrow" in Shibuya Station, it feels like the only thing left is to visit the adorable Jomon dogu tombstone at Tama Cemetery. ๐ŸŽข๐Ÿƒ Looking back, aside from the various adorable child sculptures, one thing that left a deep impression was a quote about photography I found in the Kawasaki museum: "Photography is about using one accident to capture another, making it seem like inevitability." It's so true. Nowadays, when I happen to see something interesting on the street and hesitate whether to take a photo, I usually just go for it. ๐ŸŽข๐Ÿƒ Most of the candid shots seem meaningless at the moment, but often years later, when I randomly sort through my photos and see one of them, I suddenly understand the significance of a certain detail. That's inevitability, right? #JapanTravel ๐ŸŒŸ #TokyoExhibitions ๐ŸŽจ
