Some Thoughts on Staying at Las Vegas Westin

It was my first time in Las Vegas, and I only looked at Marriott properties since I had a good amount of points to use โ€” all about value for money! ๐ŸŒŸ I also wanted to be able to see the Sphere from my room. After checking out some tips, I booked the Westin for Dec 31โ€“Jan 2, just a few days ahead, using about 80,000+ points. The Westin is located a 10+ minute walk from the Sphere, not right on the Strip. I was a little worried about safety at night before arriving, but the area turned out to be perfectly safe ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธโœ…. Walking to nearby spots was fine, and for anything farther, Uber rides were around $20 or less ๐Ÿš—. Some Westin rooms offer Sphere views โ€” I was lucky enough to get a complimentary upgrade to Room 841 ๐ŸŽ‰! It gave me a side view of the Sphere, not the full frontal view, but still pretty cool. Iโ€™d seen some comments saying the hotel was dated or basic, but honestly, I thought it was totally fine ๐Ÿ›๏ธโœจ. Itโ€™s not a luxury resort โ€” but it was clean, comfortable, and for the points cost (only about 30,000โ€“40,000 per night vs. 100,000+ for Bellagio or Cosmopolitan), itโ€™s a great deal. As a Marriott Platinum member, I also got free breakfast for two ๐Ÿณโ˜• โ€” everything we ordered was tasty, no disappointments! Overall, for a budget-friendly, points-conscious stay with nice perks and decent location, the Westin is a solid pick ๐Ÿ‘. If youโ€™ve got cash or points to burn though, go for one of those hotels with a full-frontal Sphere view! ๐Ÿ˜‰ #WestinLasVegas #SphereView #VegasOnAPointsBudget #MarriottPlatinum #LasVegasStay ๐ŸŒ†๐ŸŽฐ
