Some Tips for a Tokyo Night Out ๐
During my recent wanderings in Tokyo, I discovered a great route to spend an evening. 1๏ธโฃ Start your afternoon with some shopping at Roppongi Hills. I highly recommend estnation and united arrows, two amazing concept stores that offer a wide range of clothing, accessories, and home goods at various price points. These are the stores I always visit whenever I'm in Japan. ๐ On the first floor of the mall, you'll find a the row boutique, and on the second floor, there are many quiet Japanese local brands with fewer crowds. ๐๏ธ 2๏ธโฃ As night falls, head to the Mori Art Museum on the 52nd floor. It stays open until 10:00 PM. There's currently a beautiful exhibition on Sou Fujimoto's architecture, which is very soothing and inspiring. ๐ The Expo Big Roof model is also on display. The museum shop has a great selection of merchandise from artists like Yayoi Kusama and Yoshitomo Nara. I bought quite a few items this time! ๐ 3๏ธโฃ On the same floor, visit the Roppongi Hills Observation Deck to enjoy the stunning night view of Tokyo Tower. It's much more refreshing compared to Shibuya Sky. ๐ 4๏ธโฃ End your evening with dinner at a nearby restaurant. I recommend joumon roppongi for their yakitori, which is said to be the best in Roppongi. Their consommรฉ dumplings and spicy noodles are really delicious. ๐ You can make a reservation in advance. Satsuma Roppongi is also a great option for yakiniku. ๐ #TokyoTravel #TokyoFood ๐๐ฅ
