Canadian summer has finally arrived ☀️, and on a sunny weekend afternoon, I headed back to Ontario’s lakeside park with a friend. ❣️ Spencer Smith Park sits right on Burlington’s waterfront 🏙️. Its entrance features a lacy, openwork lighthouse . The park has a sprawling promenade—sit on the breakwater, stroll, bike, or rollerblade while soaking in views of the lake, beach, and overpass 🚴♀️. 🔆 Summer means sunbathers crowd the sandy shores ☀️👙. My friend slipped into a flowy dress , and we chatted, snapped photos, and paused to feel the warm breeze 🌬️😌. We watched gulls soar , swans glide 💦, and geese nap onshore —peaceful, serene, and so refreshing.
